Aside from providing superior quality tires for safer journeys, Bridgestone takes pride in giving back to the community. This year, we went the extra mile in extending help to our fellow countrymen who are less fortunate. As we continue to pave safer roads for all, our brand also initiates support to students like the newly-constructed classroom donations in Talogtog-Bateng Elementary School in Mangaldan, Pangasinan. The project was chosen due to the struggles of the students to learn in makeshift classrooms made of lumber and plywood for quite a period of time. The uncomfortable situation became a concern to the whole community and the story eventually reached Bridgestone.
The classrooms were turned over in March 2022 and were attended by the faculties of the school and Bridgestone’s Marketing Communications Officer, Glaiza Tabangay. The ceremony turned out to be a meaningful event and gave hope to the community in Mangaldan. This way, we impart our vision of building hope for the future by providing facilities for students and educators.
